These terms apply when you use any Muse gadget SDK token (the “Gadget SDK Tokens” or “Token”) with the Muse gadget SDK (“Gadget SDK”). They supplement the Muse Supplemental Terms of Service, which continue to apply to your use of Muse. By requesting or using a Token, you agree to these terms.
- Permitted use. The Gadget SDK Tokens are made available for personal, non-commercial use with your own Muse account and for devices you build and share in accordance with Section 2.
- Devices you share. If Meta issues you a Token or other credential for use with the Gadget SDK, it is personal to you. Other than by embedding it as described below, do not share or publish it. You may embed it in no more than 50 devices that you make available to others. A Token may be linked to no more than 50 total devices. You may not embed it in any device that you sell for any payment or other consideration, that you advertise, offer, or list publicly or through any marketplace or application store, or that you provide in connection with any promotion, incentive, or reward. You may not represent in any way that the device is made by or endorsed by Meta. Any other distribution requires Meta’s prior written permission. You are responsible for all activity under your Token.
- Other people’s data. You may not use a Gadget SDK Token to access any Muse account other than your own, or to collect, store, transmit, or process another person’s Muse data. If you provide a device you have built to another person, you must inform them, before they pair it using their Muse credentials, what the device does with their information. You may not intercept, retain, or transmit their prompts, Muse’s responses, or other data, except to the extent your device requires in order to function and you have disclosed to them. You may not use their information for your own purposes.
- Security and law. You are responsible for the security of anything you build and for complying with applicable law. You may not use the Gadget SDK Tokens with any tools, models, or software designed to generate unlawful content or engage in unlawful or harmful conduct. You may not circumvent or remove any usage restriction or safety measure, or enable functionality that Meta has disabled.
- Not a supported product. The Gadget SDK and Gadget SDK Tokens are provided as is and as available. They are not a supported product and not a developer platform. They may change, stop working, or be withdrawn at any time, with or without notice.
- Suspension. Meta may suspend or withdraw your access to the Gadget SDK Tokens at any time, including where Meta believes these terms have been breached or where access is being used in a way that creates risk for Muse users or that circumvents or removes usage restrictions or other safety measures, or enables functionality disabled by Meta. If Meta revokes your Token, you must cease using the Token and remove the Token from any device you have made available to others.
- The SDK code. The source code for the Gadget SDK is licensed separately under the Apache License 2.0. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under that license. These terms govern your access to Muse through that code and the Gadget SDK Tokens. The source code license does not grant any right to Gadget SDK Tokens.
